The Poleslinger: An exciting YA adventure fantasy with a dash of mystery!
Nine unique crystals in the blood of nine unique races must be brought together, or the corrupted crystals of the afflicted will destroy humanity from the inside out.
Kiera/Kieran El’Xantha, a gender fluid fifteen-year-old, is the key to uniting the Nine Realms. Too bad the snarky teenager lost her memory when she washed up on the beaches of a foreign kingdom after her father’s ship was destroyed.
The only clue to her past?
A gold and silver sword.
Believing Kiera to be a young boy, Captain Mallow is impressed when he witnesses Kieran take down five men with a pole. He suspects he is an enemy of the Riven Kingdom, but is willing to wait and find out what he knows before killing him. He offers to take Kieran to Amstarhe Temple, promising the monks could restore his memory.
Seventeen-year-old Knight, Andren Riva, is on his first mission to recruit soldiers for the coming war. He is driven to prove his worth, not just to his commanding officer, Captain Mallow, but to his faithless father. He’s not interested in babysitting some kid. It was hate at first sight.
Desperate to remember her past, Kiera accepts, despite Andren’s resentment by her presence. When they arrive at the temple, Mallow and Andren’s perception of the world is shattered when Kieran’s identity is revealed and the horrific nature of the enemy is unveiled.
Telepathically communicating with Kiera’s dying mother, Mallow, Andren, and Kiera learn they must find the other realms and bring them together before it's too late.
But... they’ve got to stop fighting each other first.
